At Stateline Medical, Inc., we attempt to help all patients and try to admit
and medicate new patients as soon as possible. Although
appointments are preferred, we will process all walk-ins.
Upon arrival at Stateline Medical, Inc., you will be asked to present a
valid form of picture identification showing your name and age. You must be
at least 18 years of age to be admitted for methadone treatment.
An initial admission fee of $75.00 is required at admission. Cash,
money order, or VISA/Mastercard are acceptable forms of payment. This fee will cover the cost of the your admission physical,
laboratory testing, medication and counseling for the first week. For
further information, see our web page on Treatment Fees.
All new patients will be asked to provide a urine specimen
at the facility which must be positive for opiates. We will quickly test
this specimen at our facility. After leaving a urine specimen, you will meet
with one of our intake counselors for an initial interview. This should take
about forty five minutes to an hour.
It will also be necessary for you to receive an
admission physical from our program physician. An admission physical is
required before you receive any
medication. To be
eligible for methadone detoxification, a patient must be currently
physiologically addicted to heroin or other opiates. To be eligible for
methadone maintenance, a patient must have been physiologically addicted to
heroin or other opiates for at least one year and be currently
physiologically addicted to heroin or other opiates. Together, you and the
physician will develop a treatment plan which best meets your needs.
If methadone treatment is not the appropriate form of treatment for you, we
will refer you to an appropriate service provider. Please note that drug
free counseling is also available at our facility.
Returning patients must meet all original admission criteria as set forth
above. All patients are expected to settle any outstanding bills they may
have prior to readmission. Stateline Medical, Inc., reserves the right to
deny readmission to an individual, who, during past treatment episodes at
the facility, has demonstrated an unwillingness or inability to abide by the
policies of the facility or has given evidence of treatment
needs that are outside the scope of the services we provide.
We look forward to your success at Stateline Medical, Inc.
