Stateline Medical believes in a holistic approach to the treatment of addiction by
utilizing the full benefits of medication, substance abuse counseling,
family support/counseling, and community based resources in a multi faceted
approach.
Stateline Medical believes that no clients should be driven to terminate their
treatment prematurely.
Stateline Medical supports methadone maintenance treatment for as long as the client is
stable and benefiting from the treatment.
Stateline Medical considers addiction to be a primary, progressive, chronic disorder,
subject to relapse, which affects the entire family unit and community at
large. Successful long-term outcomes require addressing relapse potential,
behavior modification, expanded opportunities to improve life style
(educationally and vocationally), discharge planning and a comprehensive
aftercare plan. Stateline Medical incorporates all life areas into the treatment plan for
recovery. Education and skills building are utilized to help the patient
gain initial control over his/her chemical dependency, as well as a variety
of life problems, and may be drawn upon long after treatment has ended.
